Can you imagine an online keyword tool that enables you to find easily find lots of relevant keywords in Google, Bing, Youtube, Amazon, Ebay and the AppStore? And there’s a free version you can use without those hefty ongoing monthly costs?
I found one! And in the right hands, keywordtool.io could be extremely useful 🙂
I say “in the right hands” because you must remember what can easily happen when these type of tools throw literally hundreds of results at you… They CAN produce too much information!!!
And that means that you can get confused, and overwhelmed.
The whole point of a keyword tool is to make your life a little easier, and certainly not harder! So I don’t want that to happen!
So first up… use your OWN BRAIN to toss ideas around!
Remember, you are investigating a niche that you supposedly have an interest in, and is supposed to be an area YOU KNOW A LOT ABOUT! So practice using that brain of yours to dig deeper… and get used to using it because THAT will help you spark new ideas and thoughts later on… all the way down the track!
Only AFTER you have exhausted your ideas…
Maybe THEN turn to these tools for more suggestions! Often you might find the answers you come up with intuitively in the first place are potentially more useful, so please don’t START with these type of tools.
Even though they come up with some useful stuff – like the keywords people use or the questions they might be asking – I would still prefer NOT to RELY on the results churned out by ANY online tools!
Maybe… once you get a bit more familiar with the entire processes… and understand more about what you are really looking for, then such a keyword tool would no doubt be useful to you. Until then, please use them all sparingly 🙂
The main people who can “benefit” from using these tools are those people who are providing services to businesses in areas they know little about! For example, SEO Agencies, Adwords consultants etc. And IF you later decide to use such services and/or people, THEN this type of tool can be useful.
For now, however, please take my advice and rely on your own intuition 🙂
